I called the pediatrician's office this afternoon to get the results of Charlie's TSH. They called me back to say his TSH level is high. He needs to have more labs drawn tomorrow for the full work-up, we'll return to the doctor on Monday to talk and evaluate everything, and he is being referred to an endocrinologist for probable hypothyroidism. So what I do know is that it's treatable. What I don't know is why he has it. I hate that he has to get stuck again. Poor Charlie.
Someone tell Dr. Bishop that her inclinations were right.
