Bug is two!

Exactly two years ago, this precious baby was born with a scratch under his eye and the sweetest little cry.

CharlieBug is two years old. Two years have gone by way too quickly!

Charlie is a tender-hearted, sheepish little boy. He gets teased easily, laughs easily, and gives kisses easily.

He loves his brother Jack. Like crazy. He wants to do everything his big brother does and get praise from him. They make each other laugh, they pounce on each other, and they nearly drown each other every night in the bath. Charlie gives Jack wet kisses every night for bed.

Charlie snuggles when he's awake but wants his space when it's time to sleep. This is opposite from when he was newborn-6 months old. At that time, he had plenty of alone time when he was awake and then pretty much slept right by me for six months. Yes, in my bed. Which is also opposite from Jack, who was in his crib from day two until he started climbing out of it at fourteen months old and has come to our bed ever since.

Charlie loves to eat. He already has the habits of a sixteen-year-old athlete. He lingers in the kitchen waiting for food to fall out of the sky, hollers unrecognizeable phrases at me (which I assume mean he's hungry), and will open the pantry and stare at food. All day long. This has made him go from less than 10th percentile height last year to 85th percentile height today. Go, Charlie.

Charlie LOVES to read, dance, and sing. He pulls every single one of his books down from his bookshelf every morning and will go through all of them pretending to read throughout the day. His favorite book is Bubbles Bubbles, a Sesame Street babies book Mrs. Dorothy got Jack as a baby. He dances to any and every type of music. He babbles tunes. His favorites are twinkle twinkle little star, wheels on the bus, and do-re-mi.

Tonight, we had spaghetti, brownies, and presents for our birthday boy. He mostly wanted to play with the candles and the bags.

Charlie, I love you endlessly, sweet boy! Happy happy birthday. Now, go to Neverland and please don't grow up!

Minnie loves her Bug and Master Jack ! Give those boys a bunch of hugs and kisses from Minnie. Hope to get a plane ticket when the weather warms up a bit. Old ladies don't handle cold too well. Love to you all ! PS: PM me and tell me what those boys want and/or need.
