Counting blessings

My Charlie cut another tooth on Sunday. That's two teeth in 5 days. Sheesh. Poor little baby. I could tell it was about to happen because he had a little fever. He is such a sweetheart... no whining with the pain. Just drooling and sucking on his hands.

Another fact about Charlie: he is the most ticklish little thing. If you barely brush his cheeks, he's giggling in no time. Jack is ticklish, but in particular areas. Charlie is ticklish everywhere. Feet, hands, face, head, all over. I love it. Charlie is such a joy to have in our lives. So far he seems to be my calm child, observant and more quiet. He is sweet and happy and oh-so precious.

Jack seems to keep growing up overnight. He talks in complete sentences with correct grammar most of the time. He counts to twenty. He will quickly recognize emotion and ask why someone is sad or mad. He will tell us if he is "so sad" (as he says). He is super active. He will be my bungee jumper, for certain, and I pray his love for life and adventure will lead him straight into the arms of Jesus and that the energy and passion God placed in little Jack will be used to glorify Christ.

We are forever grateful for both Jack and Charlie. They add a very rich and sweet love to our home, and we feel so blessed. May Jesus capture their hearts even now.
